What fabric is best for commercial hotel duvet covers?

100% combed cotton is the premium choice for 4 & 5-star hotels. It offers smooth touch, breathability and great durability against repeated industrial laundering. Poly-cotton blends are a budget-friendly alternative for mid-range business hotels. Thin low-grade fabrics easily become translucent, wrinkle heavily and wear out quickly after frequent washing.

What thread count should hotel duvet covers have?

Standard business hotels usually select 200–250 thread count. Luxury hotels prefer 300–400 thread count fabric. Higher thread count delivers a tighter weave, softer texture and better resistance to pilling and tearing. Avoid ultra-low thread count products, which degrade rapidly and create a low-end impression for guests.

Why do cheap duvet covers slip and allow the duvet to shift inside?

Low-quality duvet covers lack built-in corner ties to secure the inner duvet insert. During sleep and laundry cycles, the filling slides and bunches unevenly.
