Poly-cotton blends serve as a cost-effective choice for mid-range business hotels. Thin low-grade fabrics tend to pill, wrinkle and turn transparent after repeated laundering.

What thread count do hotels usually choose for bed sheets?

Budget hotels commonly use 180–220 thread count bed sheets. Standard business hotels pick 250–300 thread count, while luxury 5-star properties prefer 300–400 thread count. Higher thread count brings tighter weaving, softer texture and stronger tear resistance. Extremely low thread count sheets wear thin quickly and hurt guest experience.
